November is coming to a close (?!) and it's time to pull out the hot water bottles, cuddly blankets, and hot chocolate mix. With the change in weather it really feels like winter time, and winter time means more reading! This post is quite late, but what the heck, it was mostly written anyway. Excuse me, I seem to have lost the entire month of May. Seriously, where did May go? I feel like April lasted forever and now the universe is trying to correct itself by moving at warp speed through May. Just me? Maybe? Okay. I've been reading quite a lot lately, but it doesn't necessarily reflect in my progress because I've been a little firmer about DNFing books! Take a look at my week is reading below.
As many UK readers know, the Young Adult Literature Convention (YALC) is coming up this week! Part of London Film and Comic Con, YALC celebrates YA books, readers, and authors in one happy weekend. I’m going to YALC for the first time, as I’m sure many others are too, but I am a seasoned attendee of both New York Comic Con and professional conferences. I thought I’d share some general conference-going tips to (hopefully) make your life a bit easier and more comfortable at YALC.
