Happy January! I know it's so silly to say, but 2017 feels like it flew by so quickly! I cannot believe that this blog is almost a year old, and things have changed so much for me since I started it. Now that the post-Christmas haze is clearing, I've looked at my shelves and felt a great sinking feeling. I have so many books to read! Between the library and Christmas presents, there are so many amazing books sitting on my shelves. I know I won't actually stick to this TBR (because I so rarely do), but it should really help me figure out what to prioritise in the month of January!
Happy Friday! It has been a really great week! We had snow here in the UK over the weekend. It was so cold, but one of the cosiest days ever. Snow, tea, lots of blankets, and books made for a great day.
Happy Friday! Only two more weeks until I head home for the Christmas holiday. While I am filled with holiday cheer (and over excitement), I’ve been happily plowing my way through my December TBR. I managed to finish three books this week between Christmas parties, lunches, wrapping, and decorating. I’m kind of impressed with myself.
It’s time for one of the most pointless yet enjoyable posts for me -- my monthly TBR! This was meant to go up on the 1st of December, but due to technical difficulties and laziness...well, it didn't. Because of this, there are a couple of books on this TBR that I've already read. You'll have to wait for tomorrow's wrap up to find out what those are!
Welcome back to another anti-book haul! You guys seemed to like my last anti-haul, so I thought I’d bring it back again. If you didn’t see my last post, an anti-haul is a list of books that I’d really like to buy, but haven’t! I’m working on saving a little bit of cash for some … Continue reading The Anti-Book Haul Strikes Back
Happy Friday! You guys may have noticed I haven’t been around much this week -- I haven’t posted a single thing since last Friday. Life has been getting in the way, particularly with the holidays coming up. I did a lot of reading this week, even though it initially may not look like it.
Happy Friday! The weather is finally getting cold here in the UK -- I have to wear a scarf to work! Winter is truly coming, you guys, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Unfortunately with winter comes colds. I’ve been behind on reading and things due to an icky cold that knocked out my entire team -- I was the last to get it. Despite that, I did do a bit of reading this week.
Hi guys! I’m working on saving some cash at the moment because October was such disastrous month for book buying. I wouldn’t call this a book buying ban -- mostly because that makes me want to buy books even more -- but we’ll say it’s a slow-down on my spending. Besides, Christmas is coming soon, and books make the best presents (hint hint to anyone getting me something for Christmas).
So it’s nearly the end of the year, and I’m struggling a little to come up with a TBR strategy for this month! Usually I have a good idea of what I want to accomplish, but this month there are a bunch of things on my mind.
September is gone, and October is here! I’ve been doing these monthly TBR strategy posts because they really help me organise my thoughts and reading ambitions. October is going to be quite the busy month for reading, so this post is going to be so helpful! As you guys may have seen in the past, … Continue reading October TBR Strategy
