So I have been reading a lot lately. Seriously, a lot. And while I’ve been trying to dedicate myself to writing a review for every single book I read, that’s just not really possible. Sometimes, regardless of my feelings for a book, I just can’t quite come up with a full-length review! This is neither a good thing nor a bad thing -- it just means I can sum up my feelings quickly.
Hey guys, guess what? It’s December! Already! I feel like November was just a thing that didn’t happen. This year has absolutely flown by and I’m not sure where the time has gone. But now that November is over, it’s time for my monthly reading round-up.
So I’ve done a video review for Electric Dreams already, but I wanted to get one up here too. I know there has been some good reaction to my Beginner’s Guide to Science Fiction (part one and part two), and Electric Dreams is the perfect book for anyone looking to get started with sci-fi.
Happy Friday, you guys! It feels like a proper autumn day here in the UK. The sun is shining but it’s absolutely freezing! This has been a great week for books and reading, but not great for my bookshelves (they’re beginning to sag under the weight). This will probably be quite a long post, so buckle up!
Happy Friday, everyone! If you remember last week’s post, I was in a little bit of a slump. I’m pleased to say that I’m slowly clawing my way out of that slump now! I didn’t read a huge amount this week, but it’s better than last week’s whole lot of nothing.
Happy Wednesday! I've got another book haul post to share with you today. I've received a bunch of great books in the mail from publishers over the past few weeks (and I may have gone to the bookshop yesterday, but I had a full Waterstones stamp card!). I did a little video for my YouTube channel yesterday. All the books I talk about are listed below the video!
