So as I’m sure many of you have realised by now, I am a huge fan of Leigh Bardugo. So it came as no surprise that I felt The Language of Thorns was absolute perfection.
Happy Friday, everyone! If you remember last week’s post, I was in a little bit of a slump. I’m pleased to say that I’m slowly clawing my way out of that slump now! I didn’t read a huge amount this week, but it’s better than last week’s whole lot of nothing.
Happy weekend! I've taken a little break from reading the past few days and it has done me a world of good! Sometimes I get a little overwhelmed by the sheer volume of books I have to read. Yikes!
I've been thinking that some of the most innovative fantasy over the past few years has been coming from the YA genre and the Six of Crows duology is certainly evidence of that. These two books are absolutely amazing. Seriously, they're some of the best fantasy I've read in ages.
