Book Review: Legendary by Stephanie Garber

Caraval was one of the biggest releases of 2017.  It was the book everyone was talking about for months!  Fully caught up in the hype surrounding that book, I read Caraval and was actually pretty disappointed -- I even listed it as one of my most disappointing books of 2017.  However, I fully acknowledge that the hype was probably the contributing factor to my unenjoyment. When Legendary was released, I was determined to read it early and beat the hype.

April 2018 Reading Round-Up

I feel like I say this every month, but I cannot believe how quickly time is passing!  April has absolutely flown by and spring is well underway. April has been an amazing month for me: I went to the Harry Potter studio for the first time, chaired my first book event, hosted my first readathon, and I read some fanastic books.  I feel like the start of the year was a bit slow to start in my little corner of the internet, but I'm really getting back on my feet in terms of writing reviews, posting videos, and taking photos.

Cover Love

Anyone who has spent time on this blog knows that I am an absolute sucker for a gorgeous cover. I’ll always pick up a beautifully designed book, and the cover will sway me to purchase a book about 80% of the time.

Review: Caraval

There was so much hype surrounding this book's release. From its stunning cover to the fantastical story, everyone wanted it. I found out about Caraval through social media -- you couldn't throw a figurative rock on Instagram without seeing a photo of its gorgeous cover -- and decided to pick it up.
