So March was an unexpectedly great month for reading. I've been feeling like I've not been reading enough lately, but that's clearly not true. Why? I read 12 books in March. 12 books! To be fair, they were a combination of full-length novels, shorter books, and graphic novels (which I absolutely power through). Regardless, I'm so pleased with my progress! This is going to be a long post, so I'm not really going to go into detail here. I'll have reviews for each book I read soon!
My monthly TBR was mostly set by Scottish Fiance, but the whole TBR was thrown out of whack for a number of reasons (the main one being that we accidentally left the backpack containing all my books on the train home from Edinburgh and it had to be rescued by my mum the next day), so I didn't end up reading the books I had initially planned to. Regardless, it was still a great months for reading!
The end of January is nearly upon us! I'm doing my monthly reading round-up a little early this month because I'm going to be away over the next couple of days! I usually write these posts at the last possible second because I want to give myself a chance to read as many books as possible. So because this is getting scheduled in, I'm going to go ahead and include the books I'm currently reading as well. Who knows, maybe I'll finish a few more before February begins!
Happy New Year! As 2017 comes to a close, 2018 just seems full of promise. I've rounded off my year of reading and am looking forward to sticking to my resolutions and making this space even better for you guys. Let's take a look at the last reading round-up of 2017. Spoiler alert: it was a good month!
Hey guys, guess what? It’s December! Already! I feel like November was just a thing that didn’t happen. This year has absolutely flown by and I’m not sure where the time has gone. But now that November is over, it’s time for my monthly reading round-up.
Hi all! Despite it being a weird month, I got some serious reading done. Victober was a bit of a disaster, as I finished absolutely zero Victorian novels this month! Due to real life circumstances, I was just not in the mood for that kind of fiction. Instead, I ended up reading lots of science fiction and fantasy -- escapist books. I also acquired far too many books, as per usual (I'm sure no one is surprised).
I feel like I’m saying this at the end of every single month, but seriously how is September already over? This year is absolutely flying by! It has been a brilliant month for reading and for blogging. Not only did I land myself on a few publishers's blogger lists, I launched my YouTube channel! I'm not sure how you could miss that fact if you've been frequently reading this blog -- I'm definitely talking about it and linking it constantly -- but if you did, you can find my channel here 🙂
