January is finally over! Seriously though, how did January last about 12 years? I’m really not sure what it is about that month that seems like time has stopped moving, but now we are in February and all is right with the world!
I got a lot of reading done in January — 12 books total! I also hauled a buttload of books and was sent some gorgeous ARCs by publishers.
Books I read
Artificial Condition by Martha Wells
Dark Matter by Michelle Paver (review)
A Big Ship at the Edge of the Universe by Alex White (review)
Thornbound by Stephanie Burgis (review)
The Unlikely Escape of Uriah Heep (review)
Moontangled by Stephanie Burgis (review)
The Deep by Rivers Solomon (review)
Grimm Tales for the Young and Old by Philip Pullman (Goodreads review)
The Last Smile in Sunder City by Luke Arnold (review)
A Queen in Hiding by Sarah Kozloff (review)
Wilder Girls by Rory Powers
The Hand on the Wall by Maureen Johnson
I read 12 books last month, ranging from 4.5 to 1.5 stars. Things were a little all over the place in terms of ratings! I’ve been pretty good about posting reviews, so go ahead and check out the links for my full thoughts.
My favourite of the month was definitely The Unlikely Escape of Uriah Heep, while my least favourite was Wilder Girls (which I wanted so desperately to love!).
