Weekly Wrap-Up: 06 December 2019

weekly wrap up new

It’s one of the last weekly wrap-ups of 2019!  My, how time flies! Between Christmas celebrations, seeing friends, and trying to wrap up at work before the holidays, I’ve been pretty busy and distracted. Therefore I haven’t finished any new books this week, but I’m in the middle of a bunch of them!

Books I read

Nothing! See below for the books that I am currently reading though. Hopefully I’ll have more to report next week.

Books I am currently reading

Starsight by Brandon Sanderson (page 222)

Girls of Paper and Fire by Nathasha Ngan (page178)

The Toll by Neil Schusterman (approximately 50%)

Robots of Dawn by Isaac Asimov (page 60)

The Shadow Saint by Gareth Hanrahan (15%)

Okay, so obviously I’m in the middle of a bunch of books right now! I’ve been skipping between them and am loving them all, but am totally unable to settle down with just one! My plan for this weekend is to crack on with these books and finally get some finished.

Books I bought

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

Fallible Justice by Laura Laakso

I bought two books this week — one I’ve already read and one new one. I found a hardback copy of Children of Blood and Bone, a book I really enjoyed, and grabbed it from my local bookshop. I had no idea this book was hardbacked in the UK! I also bought a copy of Fallible Justice to help out the publisher, who tweeted on Black Friday about having a tough year. I’ve heard amazing things about this book!

Book post

Wranglestone by Darren Charlton

I was sent a copy of this book by the publisher and I can’t wait to read it! It’s a YA zombie book, but has a romance. What more could you need?

She sees you when you’re sleeping…

That’s it for this week! What have you been reading? Have you read any of these books? Let me know!
