Monthly Reading Wrap-Up: November 2019

monthly wrap up new

November has come to a close and now no one has any excuse to make fun of me for my aggressive Christmas cheer — hooray! I fell off the blogging wagon a little toward the end of the month, but my reading has been strong and I’m slowly but surely catching up on reviews. Check out everything  I read and hauled in the month of November!

Books I read

The Guinevere Deception by Kiersten White (review)

The Sky Weaver by Kristen Ciccarelli (review)

Realm of Ash by Tasha Suri (review)

Song of the Crimson Flower by Julie C. Dao (review)

The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black

The Subtle Knife by Phillip Pullman

The Guest List by Lucy Foley

Infinity Son by Adam Silvera

Thunderhead by Neil Shusterman

The Whispers of War by Julia Kelly

I read 10 books in November, which means I read more than I hauled — awesome! This month marked the beginning of my 2020 reads: The Guest List, Infinity Son, and The Whispers of War. I also read a bunch of new releases and continued on with series. All in all, a great reading month!

I’m still catching up on reviews, but have been surprisingly good with reviewing what I’ve been reading. Stay tuned for my thoughts on all these books!

Books I bought

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

The Killing Light by Myke Cole

The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black

Three preorders came in this month! I’m saving The Starless Sea for December, and need to catch up on the Sacred Throne series before I can tackle The Killing Light. I’ve already tackled Queen of Nothing because I figured some jerk on Twitter would spoil it for me if I didn’t read it right away!

Book post

Knight of the Silver Circle by Duncan M. Hamilton

Fate of the Fallen by Kel Kade

The Good Luck Girls by Charlotte Nicole Davis

Starsight by Brandon Sanderson

Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi

Sisters Grimm by Menna van Praag

I really lucked out with book post this month! Most are from publishers, but I wanted to give a special shout out to Nikki who sent me Good Luck Girls!!  Thank you so much (insert sobbing emoji).

That’s it for November’s reading update! Let me know what you read and picked up this month!
