I was tagged by the marvelous Shanah from Bionic Book Worm. She is not only my book twin, she’s an amazing blogger that you should totally check out. I was thinking I should do more tags on my blog because just reviewing books gets a little boring after awhile. So let’s shake things up!
THE RULES – Find a book that contains (either on the cover or in the title) an example for each category. You must have a separate book for all 20, get as creative as you want and do it within five minutes! I’m going to do what Shanah did and not stick to the five minute rule. I’m als going to choose titles that match each prompt rather than covers because, well, all my books are on shelves.
1 – FOOD, 2 – TRANSPORTATION, 3 – WEAPON, 4 – ANIMAL
Food: Beneath the Sugar Sky by Seanan McGuire
Transportation: Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein (this may be a bit of a stretch, but whatever)
Weapon: City of Blades by Robert Jackson Bennett
Animal: Blackbird by N. D. Gomes
5 – NUMBER, 6 – SOMETHING YOU READ, 7 – BODY OF WATER, 8 – PRODUCT OF FIRE
Number: A Thousand Nights by E. K. Johnston
Something you read: The Book of Strange New Things by Michel Faber
Body of water: The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman
Product of fire: The Smoke Thieves by Sally Green
9 – ROYALTY, 10 – ARCHITECTURE, 11 – CLOTHING ITEM, 12 – FAMILY MEMBER
Royalty: The Queens of Innis Lear by Tessa Gratton
Architecture: Jade City by Fonda Lee
Clothing item: The Silk Roads by Peter Frankopan (this is the closest I could get!)
Family member: Red Sister by Mark Lawrence
13 – TIME OF DAY, 14 – MUSIC, 15 PARANORMAL BEING, 16 – OCCUPATION
Time of day: Queen of the Night by Alexander Chee
Music: Blood Song by Anthony Ryan
Paranormal being: A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
Occupation: Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett
17 – SEASON, 18 – COLOUR, 19 – CELESTIAL BODY, 20 – SOMETHING THAT GROWS
Season: The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon (ha!)
Colour: White Rabbit Red Wolf by Tom Pollock
Celestial body: The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
Something that grows: The Lie Tree by Francis Hardinge
Okay, so this was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I had to stretch the meaning of the prompt a little for a couple of them. I wont tag anyone because I don’t want anyone to feel pressure to do this, but if you do please send me a link!
This sounds like a really difficult tag! I can’t even think of books immediately for some of the prompts and definitely would not have finished it under 5 minutes. 🙈 I loved your choices for each – some really clever ones there! 😍 Great post, Justine! 😊

The clothing item one was probably the hardest!! Unless you’ve read Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, there aren’t too many options lol. The Bone Season choice made me giggle!!
