Blog Tour: Children of Blood and Bone

COBB Blog Tour Banner

I’m so thrilled to be participating in the Now We Rise blog tour!  As you have probably heard, Children of Blood and Bone is the new YA fantasy novel that is taking the world by storm.  I was lucky enough to read a proof copy of this book, and it’s safe to say I was blown away. As I gather my thoughts to write my review, I thought I’d share this quiz!

Zélie Adebola remembers when the soil of Orïsha hummed with magic. Burners ignited flames, Tiders beckoned waves, and Zelie’s Reaper mother summoned forth souls.

But everything changed the night magic disappeared. Under the orders of a ruthless king, maji were targeted and killed, leaving Zélie without a mother and her people without hope.

Now, Zélie has one chance to bring back magic and strike against the monarchy. With the help of a rogue princess, Zélie must outwit and outrun the crown prince, who is hell-bent on eradicating magic for good.

Danger lurks in Orïsha, where snow leoponaires prowl and vengeful spirits wait in the waters. Yet the greatest danger may be Zélie herself as she struggles to control her powers—and her growing feelings for the enemy.*

The good people at MyKindaBook have pulled together the following quiz to see what maji clan you belong to.  Where are my fellow burners?

If you’re interested in a multiple choice quiz you can take this one, which has been making the rounds on social media.  I’m a tamer, which seems perfect for a cat whisperer like me. Behold my army of leoponaires!

So fierce!

That’s it for now!  I’ll have a review of this incredible book up soon.
